This site is dedicated to my four-legged-furry children!!! I am a volunteer with MSIR (Midwest Shiba Inu Rescue)
as well as the new Event Coordinator along with my mom. I have three Shibas of my own and I also foster.
I get asked all the time, "How can you foster? Don't you want to keep them all?" My answers are "easily"
and "yes." While I love each one of them I cannot keep them all. First of all, my home is not the "Perfect Forever-Home"
for every Shiba, second, I don't have the room to keep them all (though it seems I like to try) ^_^
That is the reason I decided to foster. I can take care of a Shiba in need then help them find their "Perfect Forever-Home."
Please before you decide to adopt any dog, RESEARCH the breed!!! Here are some good sites, and a book
on Amazon.com, that I found to be very helpful in my research of the Shiba Inu, as well as the official MSIR and National
Shiba Rescue sites where there are more adoptable Shibas!!!
